1. Information you may provide
A quote, commercial or service enquiry may ask for your name, mobile number, area or city, room or site details, AC requirement, preferred contact time, budget and notes. Different forms ask for different information. The website has no account, online payment or photo-upload facility.
2. Why this information is used
The form uses the information to understand and respond to your sales, site-survey, installation or service request. When request recording is enabled and you consent, the website sends the details to a server-side endpoint that creates a ticket in the self-hosted KK ENTERPRISES Frappe Helpdesk. Frappe credentials are never sent to your browser.
3. WhatsApp and phone enquiries
When a WhatsApp link opens, you see the message first. You can review, edit or close it without sending. After you tap Send, WhatsApp’s privacy and message-retention terms apply. A phone call uses your phone and mobile network. An approved retention period for information shared with staff on WhatsApp or by phone has not yet been confirmed.
4. Settings and drafts stored on your device
The website uses the following browser-storage entries:
- localStorage. kk-theme: remembers the light or dark theme choice.
- localStorage. kk-lite-mode: remembers whether the reduced-effects display is on or off.
- localStorage. kk-compare-v1: stores the AC options selected for comparison.
- localStorage. kk-locale: remembers a language you explicitly select. It never automatically redirects a direct URL.
- sessionStorage. kk-quote-draft-v2: stores a semantic quote draft, including selected option IDs and customer-entered phone, locality, room, budget or notes. Known safe v1 fields may be migrated to v2.
- sessionStorage. kk-language-transition-v1: a short-lived record containing only the previous and next locale, route ID, target path, scroll position, timestamp and animation flag. It contains no form values.
localStorage entries can remain until you change them or clear the website’s data. The quote draft remains in the current tab session until it is cleared or that session ends. kk-language-transition-v1 is removed when the next language page opens or within 5 seconds. On a shared device, avoid leaving a quote draft or other personal information in the browser.
5. Hosting logs, cookies and analytics
The website’s own code does not set cookies, run an analytics provider or run session replay. Forms do not send customer-entered information to an analytics provider.
When a form, calculator or marked action link is used, the website code can dispatch a local CustomEvent named kk:analytics in the current page. It may contain general information such as the form or action name, page, locale, outcome and online status; it does not contain a name, phone number, address, budget, notes or WhatsApp message. This event does not send a network request by itself. If an analytics-provider bridge is installed later, this policy must be updated first. No such bridge is currently installed.
The hosting provider may keep technical logs such as IP address, request time, browser details and requested URL to deliver and secure the website. The provider controls which logs are kept and for how long; the website code does not decide this.
6. External services
WhatsApp, the phone dialler, Google Maps search and official Hitachi pages are separate services. Their privacy, cookie, security and availability terms may apply after you open a link. The KK ENTERPRISES website does not control those services.
7. How long information remains
Recorded requests remain in the self-hosted helpdesk until KK ENTERPRISES approves and applies a retention or deletion schedule. That schedule has not yet been confirmed, so this policy does not invent one. Browser-storage periods are described above; WhatsApp, phone notes and hosting logs may follow separate provider or business periods.
8. Requests about your information
You can remove browser-stored information through your browser’s site-data settings. A formal process for access, correction or deletion requests relating to WhatsApp or phone enquiries has not yet been approved by the owner and legal reviewer. You may use the contact page for a general question, but it is not a verified privacy-request channel.
9. Children’s privacy
This website is intended for AC purchase and service enquiries, not for children. A minor should ask a parent or guardian for help before sharing personal contact details.
10. Security
Internet and third-party messaging cannot be treated as completely risk-free. Do not send card numbers, bank details, OTPs, identity documents or other unnecessary sensitive information through a website form or WhatsApp enquiry.
11. Changes to this policy
If the helpdesk purpose, fields, retention, analytics, cookies, accounts, payments, uploads or another use of data changes, this policy should be updated before that change is released. A correct date will be added only after owner and legal review.
12. Privacy contact
The formal legal business identity and a separate monitored privacy contact have not yet been confirmed through owner and legal review. We have therefore not invented a legal entity name, privacy email address or grievance officer. General contact options are available on the contact page, but they are not a verified privacy contact.
